The Modern Model Room, Chicago, IL
Modernus was approached in late 2008 to work with Gettys on the renovation of the historic Mies van der Rohe building which housed The Modern Hotel. Modernus worked to create a solution that was both modern and timeless. We provided all doors for the mock-up room including aluminum and glass sliding doors for the bathrooms and swing doors for the closets and other environments. The building, which is a Chicago landmark will feature over 300 rooms as well as a world class spa, fitness center and restaurant.
