860 UN Plaza Residence
This renovated duplex is set on the top floor of a notable building designed in 1966 by Harris, Abramowitz and Stevens. This renovation was spurred by the opportunity to expand to the apartment next door, almost doubling the clients living space. This project was designed by Italian architect Giusi Mastro and was built around the clients love of interior design and the need to house their substantial art collection.
The project is unified around the central staircase element, and marbled dual fire place element. Modernus provided all of the interior doors in the space. Modernus produced doors in white lacquer to complement the seamless marble transitions. We also produced doors in black lacquer to compliment the black slate floors throughout the residence.
